Nice melodies here. Many good variations and wise arrangement. I like the arpeggiated melodic intro very much Cheers Title: Re: Get off the Road -- KVR compo (apr 07) Post by: birdbrain on April 12, 2007, 05:11:46 AM i really like that miniscule silence at 44 seconds. really breaks up the two sides nicely. both sides equally beautiful.

Thanks for the comments on the track. I appreciate it... I like these KVR compos, as the 2-min rule forces me to learn new ways to transition phrases together, and keep my ideas from becoming too long-winded... Something I'm usually guilty of. @ KM: Your music forum here is well done. I'll be sure to come and hang out here more often. :D Cheers everyone. well composed and arranged... The only remark is that it all sounds a bit... flat, at least to me. I could do with some more punch on the drums, and the lead could get a bit nastier or dirtier (in places). Just some quick thoughts of mine ;-) bye, frederik |
