Title: What is this ?
Post by: kara on May 11, 2007, 09:44:23 AM
A dedicated space for musician who use Pgmusic products.
Pgmusic has his own forum, but doesn't allow attachments to post.
Since I'm a pgmusic user myself, I've decided to offer this free service here.

Here, you can post your song and direct link to them  8)

And you'll get some extra reviews from our users as a bonus

Kara,

This is an interesting way to connect the two websites/forums! Anything I come up with that's worth hearing, I'll post here. Or in that scary Dark and Evil  forum...

Oren.

Thanks Oren,

I see you have fun in the Dark & Evil section  ;D

And I hope that PGmusicians will connect to this forum, I recently saw a message that it was a shame that there wasn't a dedicated space for the songs of pgmusicians. Well, now there is, they just have to use it.

I didn't dare to bump my message theren because I'm not active enough  on the pgforums and I don't want to spam there  :-\

We'll see if they use this space.

PGMusic.com
They make two main softwares for music.(lots of others but two main ones)
The main one is Band-in-a-Box.  It is the premier auto arrangement/writing aid.
Just enter some chords, select a style and it creates backing tracks and solos for you.
I don't own it so I can't go into much more detail than that, but thousands of people love it and use it, including some studios.
They also make Powertracks Pro Audio recording software. It's a 48 track audio/midi recording software. I've used it exclusively for many many years now. Since about '94 or '95.  Back then it was just a midi sequencer but it is quite an impressive recording software now.

They also have a forum that is just a nice as this one. None of the ugly threads like you see at so many other forums, except here at K-M and PGMusic. They are two gems in an ocean of mud.
I encourage you to check out their site and forum. It's a wonderful place for learning musicians. People helping people.  Audiominds.com is the only other site I know of that also is always friendly, and helpful. It's more oriented toward the art of recording, but friendly help with no atitudes, etc.
