Title: KVR august entry : Devant son miroir
Post by: Daniel Pompougnac on August 24, 2010, 09:36:26 AM
Hello, sun and thunder today in the south of France,

I post my KVR august entry :
Devant son miroir (http://www.pompougnac-daniel.com/06telech/musique/00mes_morceaux/songs/cd3_chambre_nuages/1008_danielpompougnac_devant_son_miroir.mp3)

The translation of the title is, I presume : In front of its mirror .

This piece is  born thanks to Reaper, Sfz, a lot of soundfonts, my classic guitar, my Aria Pro and a lot of plugs.
Sorry, but I've not wanted trash breathes, guitar freights, whistlers, hums or croons, because it's a living OST.

Daniel

J’aimé votre thème,assez impressionnant!
"In front of the mirror" or "through the looking glass" or "man in the mirror" whatever you want to call it,it's an outstanding composition. The audio quality is very impressive as well and I like the way you mixed your acoustic guitar and sounds from the plugins, stands very well on it's own without vocals or hums or whistlers, like you said. It's a minimalistic approach but it stands out just like an epic theme would.
Great work
Rui

As usual, you've managed a very clean sound with great depth coupled with a delicious melodic 'walk-through'.

Thank's to you, all.
...and I've learned three new english words : walk-through, glove, chops. :)

It's so cool to listen again to your music.
This one have a strong cinematic feel, I mean it immediately creates pictures in my head  :)
As always, a wonderful piece, soulful and delicate.

thanks!!

:; ...like "chamber music" - intimate, defined, powerful.
