Title: Bounce---Revisited
Post by: blipp on May 22, 2007, 03:20:33 PM
This track is about 10 months old and i think i posted it to the old Auditorium, but i was never happy with the mix. I'm getting some tracks together for another cd so i want to remix and master them as best i can. This is probably the hardest track to mix i've ever made as there are some really crowded sections. I think i've finally got it how i want it so i'd be interested on people's thoughts on the mix.
Thanks.  :)

Hi Blipp

The mix is smokin!

This is a real strong track IMO...

Hey blipp, it's worth the remixing effort
Very compact sound, no jokes here, it really works and it seems to me that everything has its space
Congratulations, finely done

Cheers

Thanks guys, glad you like the track and think the mix is ok.  ;D  I've really been pulling my hair out at times trying to mix this one. It's maybe not as good as it could be, but it's the best i'm gonna get it i think.

Hi Blipp,

great piece, I liked the contrast between the bass and the drums with the melodic stuff. The sound is very good, nothing to say here  ;D
Funny mix of danger and sweetness.
Thanks!!

With all the IDM and breakbeatish thingies going on on this forum, I'm really starting to feel like I'm falling in love with electronica again just like I did years ago.  This is a realy slick, smoking mix indeed.  The percussion effects and hits are practically 3D -- some reverbed at a distance, and some glitched and panned, and some up front and crossing over to the other side and back.  Remarkable, and the melodies and motifs are satisfying even though they don't directly go anywhere.  Rythmically, this track is very satisfying.

I'm not in the studio right now to really critically judge the mix, but it sounds pretty darn good on this system.
 Nice job. Nice tune
