Title: KVR Nov Entry
Post by: t_riddy on November 21, 2010, 06:15:31 PM
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It was kind of rushed. Oh well, at least I've got an entry for this month.

First rate pop/country composition!

My feeling is that the "steel guitar" is too prominent in places, and should be cut about 2dB to fit the mix better.
Nice overdriven guitar at the end 8)

I agree with Oren here
Also slightly to much reverb on those drums to my feeling

Good wholesome pop song. Nicely produced, very clear vocals and balanced mix.

Works for me!

Thanks for the comments guys. I agree with the advice on the steel guitar and drums. Drums have always been difficult for me. I need to consider upgrading to a better drum vst. All I've got right now are the Cubase 4 defaults.

I'm looking forward to hearing the other kara-moon entries this month. I'll try and comment on them when I get a chance.

Great mix and super vocal!

Personally I think the drums and guitars are just fine.
