Title: My Shadow Post by: jura on June 05, 2007, 09:15:57 PM In every move you can find root of non-moving.
Behind every shadow is light. Bounded together as two sides of one coin. If you chose one side, you gain other as well. es Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: Laguna Rising on June 05, 2007, 09:39:36 PM A teasing post ? building suspance ? ;D
Ok, we'll wait for it :) Cheers Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: Marc JX8P on June 06, 2007, 08:34:30 AM Well, if this also means that every non-moving contains the root of a move I can finally tell people that I don't just sit around all day! ;D
Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: jura on June 07, 2007, 02:41:10 PM Ok, it's up now.
Thank you Kara! Thank you Moon! es Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: Laguna Rising on June 07, 2007, 07:10:16 PM Oh, here it is.
I hadn't any expectations about this track, soft intro and good synth textures (well melted), there are nice melodies in it, and it flows very well. I was expecting some kind of drums to kick in ( after 3.40ish ) but the break is built to lead to the final. A nice one Cheers Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: kara on June 10, 2007, 09:18:04 AM I can hear that I'm not the only fan of Jarre here ;D
This tracks would be perfect in his '7 houses of the sun' live show, don't know if you know that one. The live edition was in Egypt. Not sure that it needs drums, drums could perhaps break the feeling of the song. Great soundtrack k Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: jura on June 10, 2007, 09:40:08 AM I saw few Jare's live shows and I like them. But I never listened to his albums.
I grow up on Vangelis instead. I was always convinced by his ability to make synths sounding so organic. Maybe it's way he played, maybe it's selection of sounds. I am glad you like it ! It inspires me to continue ! es Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: elv on July 30, 2007, 07:29:10 PM This is going in my keeper folder.
Really good track Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: kara on July 31, 2007, 07:22:40 AM I grew up with that music :)
A couple of other references - Tangerine Dream - Klaus Shultze And if you are in more rythmic, Kraftwerk of course k I saw few Jare's live shows and I like them. But I never listened to his albums. I enjoyed this track as I do of most others you've done, but I would love to hear more drum tracks in your music aside from Ikarus-as I especially enjoyed that one! I always look forward to what you're going to dream up next. 8) Title: Re: My Shadow Post by: Oren on August 06, 2007, 03:06:30 PM What I don't know about this genre of music, and this instrument, could fill several very large books ::)
It's an enjoyable education, however! Oren. |
