Title: Little victories
Post by: folderol on February 10, 2013, 11:10:58 PM
I've just managed to get yoshimi to run reliably on my eeePC901. I installed an absolutely minimal debian linux then added just what was needed to compile yoshimi to exactly match that particular architecture (always better than a generic one).

There are a couple of my most intensive voice patches that can make it stutter if I move too quickly, but otherwise it's fine (and even those two don't actually make it lock up).

I was also pleasantly surprised at the sound quality from the headphone socket, so, with a dumb usb keyboard I can potentially go live playing :)
