Title: A new guitar - Mexican Fender Telecaster Post by: Oren on September 03, 2013, 06:19:09 PM This Telecaster was built in Mexico, and they did a phenomenal job! The pickups have been replaced with a DiMarzio at the neck and a Seymour Duncan in the bridge. Maple neck, ash body.
I've already found a new home for this puppy, but enjoyed my few weeks with it immensely! Title: Re: A new guitar - Mexican Fender Telecaster Post by: MarioD on September 04, 2013, 01:25:41 PM Looks good!
Are you wheeling and dealing in guitars? Title: Re: A new guitar - Mexican Fender Telecaster Post by: Oren on September 04, 2013, 06:21:10 PM When a local player needs to unload a guitar, I step in (when possible) and prevent the instrument from going to some dealer or pawnshop. The owner is always welcome to buy the axe back at the same price I paid him/her for it, and eventually I pass it on to a picker who has more talent than money.
It's a fun hobby. :) Title: Re: A new guitar - Mexican Fender Telecaster Post by: folderol on September 04, 2013, 08:46:44 PM Good man!
The beastie looks to be in excellent condition. |
