Title: Hollow Sun (Kompoz song)
Post by: NeoN on September 18, 2017, 03:54:06 PM
Here's another slower-paced song of mine called Hollow Sun.
The truth is, I never experimented with this rhythm before but I am starting to like it.

Hollow Sun
Music & Composition: NeoN
Solo Guitars: JonA33
Bass & Vox: GeorgeSC
Lyrics: BKWilliamson

My life's an open book
Pages in the wind
Pictures clear as daylight
Still burning in my mind
Knowing you could always
Read between the lines

Screaming in the darkness
Outside an open door
Voices of the heartless
Crying out for more

Chorus
I used to believe the sun
Would shine again
But it's a Hollow sun
You know my friend
-------------------

So many voices
Locked inside my head
Swallowed by the silence
Is my only defence

It changes with the seasons
From grey to black
Looking for the reasons
Falling into the cracks

My tears are in the past
Now I'm just walking
On broken glass
With a Hollow sun

Enjoy!

Peter

Very VERY impressed with this.
It has tantalising 'flavours' of some classic late '60s to early '70s groups.

I agree with Will.

I think this is fantastic :;

Great vocal, backing tracks, and an outstanding guitar lead :;

Note there is a lot of dead space at the end of the song.  You may want to cut that out.
