Title: "Miette pimpante", Barry Lindon atmosphere.
Post by: Daniel Pompougnac on February 25, 2020, 06:59:54 PM
Hello, the classic piece that I am pleased to present to you today is a composition by Thierry Vastel (strings) and myself (piano).
A sweet melancholy, mood piece. Barry Lindon atmosphere.
Translate the title is not easy. In English, "Miette pimpante" means "Crisp crumb" (Google translate)  :)

This is a bit extreme for my tastes. However, the performance is good, and instrumentation very distinct.

Very, very interesting.
Say me what is too extreme for you, please, to help us to improve our collaboration (Thierry and me).

Welcome back Daniel.
This is a beautiful piece. Excellent composition with lovely instrumentation and playing topped of by first class production.
Movie soundtrack work.

There is nothing 'wrong' about it, it's just a classical form that I'm not keen on.
