Title: The Korg Electribe EM-X
Post by: elwoodblues1969 on August 18, 2007, 05:42:04 PM
Since generally, pattern sequencing is more popular on a pc than a external midi device for those keyboards that do not have pattern sequencing,I suspect that I may be hard pressed to recieve input regarding the Korg Electribe EM-X,but I shall submit my question anyway...
I really want to keep things simple for myself & go with a product that I am more familiar with, which is Korg & I definately dont want to buy used-so that just leaves me with the prospect of the Korg EM-X

Does anyone have any experience with this product? If anyone has used this device-if you would be so kind as to share your experiences with it,I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks,

Elwood

Well my best advice, wait a week until Moon is back from holliday
I know he had or stil has a Yamaha RM1X-Pattern Sequencer which is the competitor of the EMX from korg

I was quit impressed by the possibilities it has, he'll be able to give more review then I can

Thanks for the advice Kara, but the Yamaha RM1-X is a discontinued item that came out in the early '90's & if I were to get a Yamaha, then I would go for the QY100.
Being that both the QY100 & the Electribe are the same price-I think I will go with the Korg.
