Music is my middle name

What often is missing in my songs is guitars....
So beside asking somebody to pay for me, I've decided to do something about it myself.

What do you think of this accoustic ?

Thanks for listening

I think the strings are plucked too hard at some phases though....

Very clean sound but I agree with the comments above:
-Chords sounds a bit like banjo
-single notes seems plucked harder than usual playing

It could sound good mixed with other instruments...

Cheers

Agree it sounds more like a banjo, also sounds like someone plucking too hard. A beginner?

... hope that doesn't come over as offensive, it's not meant to be!

Ditto.

Lighten up on the picking hand and strum further away from the bridge to get a mellower sound.

What kind of pick are you using and what kind of guitar is it?

First off,I must say,it is a pretty unique style-yet about what I would expect from a bass player. Grin
I would imagine that,in general, bass players have very conditioned & strong fingers because of playing such thick gauged strings & that technique of playing is going to carry over on an acoustic guitar as well.

Bass players are naturally going to have an advantage over people like myself, who are strictly keyboard players,so you're off to a good start.

Stevie Ray Vaugn used to put acoustic strings on his electric guitar to keep his fingers strong & man, could he ever smoke a guitar! A very admirable musician he was.
I have a basic understanding of guitar, but I prefer to put all my time & energy into keyboards, but I still admire those who take the time to learn more than one instrument.
My music teacher back in high school could play just about every instrument you could think of...a very busy man he was. Grin
