Thanks I have. So do you ever automate your songs? If you have some more tips, please write (here or via email or pm). I'm just uploading the ogg version for you. Just notice there is a 136 bpm version as well.

Thanks.

No I never automate my songs. I usually edit certain velocities be it midi or audio so they fit instantly at that point in the song and I don't have to think about it anymore. Sometimes I hear songs on the radio where the intro has for instance an acoustic guitar really loud and when the vocals start the level drops considerably. I think it sounds pretty unnatural.

Imho it should be achieved with playing dynamics... Wink
I think it adds 'colours' to the music
(of course you can get some help from technology... Grin )

OK. Guess this is the final version. Thanks to Martin E. who played the new lead guitar part in the chorus.

If I had implemented more of your guitars, it would have changed the sound of the song too much. Next time I'll do a heavy metal version ;-).

Now what about the use of reverb/compression and the way the vocals sit in the mix. I always have the feeling there's something wrong. Well maybe it's just me...

Talvin, some comments:

1. Your vocal stye has evolved quiet a lot. This is very well !
2. Music wise: very strong piece.
3. Here's the deal: I've sent the shortcut of this song to some of my sponsors to let them hear what's going on at Kara-Moon. Guess I like you're work a lot...  Wink

I've got only one thing to say: keep making music: this rocks !!!

This is very good. I enjoyed listening.

... the problem is I don't normally much care for this type of music, so I am now faced with the challenge of either adjusting my tastes Shocked

... or

... pretending I didn't hear it Grin

Just in case anyone was nerved by the hisses...

I removed them and applied a different mastering. Just go back a few posts to download Version 1.32.

Man, this is like Windows.... Grin
