Sending a file in a PM

Is it possible to send a file in a PM?  If so how?

I’m working on a song with Thom (elwoodblues196) and I had to put the MP3 in the PGMusic message area.  This is not a finished file so it would have been nice to be able to PM Thom and send the song that way.

Maybe I’m missing the obvious, my wife is always telling me that  , but I could not find a way to send a file.

Yes, this is possible. Underneath the text window where you type in your message, there is a link "Additional Options...". If you klick on it, you should see an attachement box. Should work...

Thanx Moon, however that “additional options” link is not there as it is in the regular message forums.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong so here the process I used to PM Thom:
1-in the regular message forum left clink on Thom’s name (view profile of……..”
2-scroll down and click on “send this member a personal message”
3-here I can type a message but I do not see the “additional options” link

Is there another process that I’m not aware of?

True, that option isn't there 
And, having looked in the forum settings, I don't even think that it is possible....

OK I see. If you want to send attachement per mail, you'll need to use your mailing program or attach it in a thread on the forum.
