Her world came crashing down
And all that it contained
A million pieces of dreams
Coming apart at the seams

But she twists & she whirls
Dismissing it all away,
Wasn't quite the same as it was yesterday

Her night begins the day
Why think when we can play
"I find it so hard to find,
A certain dress of that kind"

As she twists and she whirls
And she dances it all away
The problems persist, they don't go away
She twists and she whirls, dancing it all away
Would rather see the night
Than the reason of the day

I find it so hard to find
Any reason of this kind

Actually,it's already been on the radio....for quite some time now, circa '91,to be exact. Grin I omitted the fact that it is a cover song, because I wanted to see if anyone recognized it,but apparently not. Cheesy

Not long after this song was released,I had first heard it while I was in a clothing store,in a mall in Florida.I was so immediately taken with this tune, that I had asked an employee about this song.
Fortunately for me,the store was playing a CD-as if it had been playing on the radio,I may have never found out who they were, which is a band called "The Ocean Blue".

Thanks for the thumbs up! Cool

Hey Thom ...

 Lips Sealed
my apologies for not having listened much of late. Too much 'real life' kicking off over here  Roll Eyes

I've just started a session playing through your recent 'immense' output.
Sorry but I cannot comment on all your video-game stuff, my friend.
It truly is not at all to my taste, although there is no underestimating your consummate skill at the performance.  Cool
Cudos.

This song, however, is nothing short of spectacular.  Shocked

You are now getting to the stage, both with your collection of sound producing equipment and with your skill in deploying it, that actually shoves you directly onto a professional stage ... in my eyes, at least.

Keep 'em coming, Sneddon .... (but please give us some originals  Kiss )

James,

Thanks for your kind observations & thoughtfulness. Cool I know I should be doing more vocal originals, but I so wanted to cover this song....it had such an immense impact on me from the very first moment I heard it and I enjoy it just as much today.

This song is just a very nice piece of nostalgia for me.
