Just of curiousity,I was combing through all of Korg's synths & I was amazed at the TR-61's features and it just may be the best keyboard workstation out there for a grand.
It's basically a lower scale version of my Triton Extreme, just with less program patches,no sampler, less polyphony and a SD card slot-but the sound quality is the same and it would serve as a good recording tool for guitarists who like to do the one-man-band thing who are on a budget.

I had Mario in mind when I saw this keyboard. Grin

-64mb of rom(512 programs)

-62 voice polyphony

-89 effects

-16 track sequencer(with pattern sequencing,of course)

-Dual polyphonic arpeggiator

-Sample upgrade option

-SD card data storage

Also,Korg is offering a $100(USD) rebate until December of this year.

The TR61 is indeed a good and underestimated workstation.
It produces some great sounds and is very userfriendly.

If you want some good demos of what is possible with it, visit this page and look at the videos : http://www.youtube.com/fischek

You'll be surprised  Cool
