Extend your MMA style library !

We have a great new tool at our disposal !
Bob has written a program that is able to convert YAMAHA (tm) styles to mma styles.
After extensive testing by us, changing & tweaking he has decided to release it.
It is available at the usual MMA home site - http://www.mellowood.ca/mma/index.html

Now Bob himself says that it is not perfect, I would say 'perhaps' but 'almost'. We have tested it
on a lot of styles, and if the style for Yamaha (tm) is clean , the MMA style will be clean. Even
if there are errors in the Yamaha (tm) style file (like notes on without notes off) , MMA will
try to correct this.

Now just a small advice from us, avoid TYROS (tm) styles, they can be converted but since they
rely heavily on the real-voice system of the TYROS, they won't sound good with MMA.

There are thousand of FREE YAMAHA(tm) styles on the internet, don't violate any copyrights and
please load up your styles on our main site in the MMA section. Please share your work !

Apologies to anyone who tried to get the ys2mma stuff ... I uploaded a corrupt *gz file. It is now corrected on my sites.

A bug in filename generation has been fixed. Plus, we now try to balance the volume of tracks.

I have just uploaded ys2mma version 0.6 to the MMA home page. It fixes a few minor problems.

If anyone is actually using this program, please let me know. And send some working conversions and I'll add them to the mma distribution.
