Listening as I type..and I am pleased to [hear] that y'all have been keeping yourselves out of trouble while I've been gone..
..and what a lovely job y'all did, too.

Bravo, baby!

This one has a life of its own. So many styles combined - such a pleasant result!

Mmm. The final mix of this is really good. The balance and clarity of all the parts is faultless. No rough edges left at all.

It's an incredible contrast against the original sketch Kara started with. I would never have imagined it could develop so well.

All the more impressive when you consider the whole thing was mixed and mastered in Audacity... Shocked

Haha..actually..even though I *use* a PC..I am not PC.  Smiley

Pretty soon they will have history re-written, Orwellian-style..so we will
have sayings like. "It is a poor work-woman who blames her tools"..hmm..
..let me think about that...  ...  ...  ...  ...   ...

...   ...   ...   ...Nope.

You do all realise that we have created musical 'stone soup' don't you?

Kara even managed to remove the 'stone' without anyone noticing Cheesy

It is an extremely old story. I first heard it at 'story time' in primary school, and yes, it's even older than that  Grin

I have a book called 'Great Short Stories of the World' where they have the oldest know version of each story. It appears in that under 'Ancient Egypt'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_soup

This covers most of the variations.
