This is my newest cut, a downtempo thing with vocals (and the usual stuff: guitars, drums, bass, piano...).

all your thoughts and suggestions appreciated!

This is good. In particular your singing is spot on, and sounds very confident. Very good overall balance and clean mix

Excellent singing and playing and superb production

Thanks for sharing this song Frederik. I really liked the whole song and the vocals especially (i actually didn't think I was going to enjoy it too much for the first few seconds, then it really just swept me away with the emotional delivery). It reminded me a bit (in a very good way) of the lovely music from early Soft Machine or Caravan (I really love those two bands).

Never would've guessed i'd get a compliment 'bout my singing Shocked

I've made a slightly different mix, with the hammmond as a short four-bar intro (to get your ears ready before the singing comes in).
And, my brother (who does mostly live mixing for concerts) wanted to try to mix-master it, so I gave him the wavefiles.
The first new version I'll probably post soon, the second one will depend on how soon my brother comes up with his version Wink
