Well, obviously Jarre can make great music even without synths! Wink

Marc,

It's a bit of a mystery as to how you've pulled this one off, which is what makes this piece so fascinating. Shocked Cheesy

This reminds me of Bobby Mcferrin's work...really creative & fun stuff!

Have you sampled your own voice here? And recorded your own hand-claps? Am I hearing looped samples?

This is getting into Max el Belga territory.  That is a good thing.

Nice work, Marc (you're starting to scare me a little Cheesy)!

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it! I had loads of fun doing this one and still can't listen to it without cracking up. Everything you hear is me and either vocal or hand clap (be glad that I normally stay away from a mic! Wink). There's very little processing going on except for the reverb and some eq. The only looping done is the 'ta ta ta ta' of the backing track which I really didn't want to do for the full length of the song. I did quantize the bd and hh (also me) though. I had planned on using melodyne on this one but in the end it was just ok as it was and it was meant as a joke anyway. Smiley

Good to know it makes you laugh, that was exactly the purpose of this one!

Thanks! I hope you're kidding though, there's a big difference between saying a few words and actually carrying on a conversation, the big problem is always understanding French if you're not used to it...

Well, the journey continues! Sonic State liked the track and included it in their podcast (it's near the end)! So, fame is slowly growing... Wink
