Hi,

a new song by me has just been released.

It is again part of the forecoming classical concept album titled
"Il dolore delle rondini" (Swallows' pain).

This song is actually a remake of a song which was first composed by me on 1997; listening at the original version was one of the main inspirations which lead me to the concept of the album.

You can download the song in OGG format from napodano.com
here

or in MP3 format from last.fm
here

you can also visit the whole last.fm album page
here

Hope you like it.

I'm far from an expert on classical style compositions but this seems to have been very well crafted. There is a lot of expression and a good range of instrumentation.

I enjoyed listening and will try to find time to listen to your other tracks.

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

Yes, indeed
I tried many times to write parts for orchestral instruments and ended up with a bunch of clashing sounds
This is truly inspired (very nice composition), and you carve ensembles using every tool in the right way (in 2 words : Great arrangement).

Well done

Cheers

Same situation here Cheesy....but, I spent years listening to my father's classical radio preferences as a child, and this composition evokes the same emotional responses.

Well done!
