Who? Me?

OK this is the first mix attempted with my new ear-bashers Cheesy

It uses my Sound Canvas for the percussion, otherwise... well you know the rest.

I did think of quantising the perc. to get the timing a bit more solid but decided against it. Also, I may yet add a bit more variation to the background brass - not too sure.

Comments welcome as usual.

Lovely old fashion with new sounds, it's allways a pleasure to listen to a track like that.

Will,

Not really my taste of style, but I did enjoy the synths sounds on this one....ahh-I recognize those tweaked fusion sounds,as they are fantastic. Smiley.

The drum track had very decent timing, considering that it's not quantized-something that's hard to pull off & you did a fine job on it.

This should go down well at the local dancehall.   Cheesy
Interesting tune which builds to quite a 'wall of sound'.

Yes, that build-up sort of grabs you when you least expect it.

First its "ho hum...", then its "ho?", followed by "hmmm...!". By then it's got you. Classic Folderol.

The music reminds me of a children's carousel. I see the happy children and remind me of my youth.
Good work. Cheesy

It really was not my intention to attack or insult Will. I have great respect for each who  published songs  here and it is very nice to hear different music. Maybe my fingers were faster than my brain. Embarrassed

Will, I like your Song. That is the Truth.

Sorry, please

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I think maybe I should point out that the title is literal. It is 'blowing a raspberry' at musical conventions & styles, and in the truest sense of the word was a multiple jam session with myself Grin

So it is purely a bit of fun to be enjoyed in any way.

Oh, you mean blowing vigorously with tongue extended through pursed lips? A derisive gesture?

Sorry, never heard of it...  Cheesy

Hi Will,

I wouldn't have gotten the raspberry part.  Smiley

..but I enjoyed your song, quite a pleasant song that
was neatly done and easy to like.

I’m with Andreas on this one as it also reminded me of a carousel loaded with happy children.

This is a very happy song!  I loved the arrangement and the very solid performance!

This one put a big smile on my face.

It’s a keeper.!
