Just a short post to confirm that everything went great and a special thanks to Kara for bringing his pa equipment and his expertise for getting a great sound. We're still recuperating a bit but both video and audio recordings have been made and we plan to get them online soon (though it may happen in stages as I need to get some experience with the video editing software I'll use). Anyway, we also have the tracks mastered now (once again, great work, Oren and Bob!) so the cd is nearly ready for production too... Exciting times!

It was great fun to participate, and despite the very short preparation delay it all went smooth !
I hope you'll post the video of 87PM playing live, I was very impressed how you played those songs live

Thanks! Though I have to add once again that your work on the pa system allowed us to concentrate on playing and get it right. It was very fun to do - I was very stressed before but once it all started rolling it really worked out. We'll definitely post the video, but I'm still waiting for the tape to get transferred to digital so I can start editing it.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the converted video files. The CD is coming along well, but we are thinking of going an alternative route for pressing which will take a while to research. However I have every confidence that we'll see a cd this year! I'm also happy to report that we've started writing material for the next one and it promises to have a totally different sound to it which is very exciting. We've changed our composing process a bit and it's very inspiring. |
