Nice track Thom. Great atmospheres and breaks, supported by a strong rhythm
I'm happy to listen to another example of Autobahn music. One day or the other I'll make a collection and keep it in my car.  Grin

AMC? Those puppies used slightly modified Chevy engines during those years. Maybe a 396 in that one? Schweet!

Speaking of schweet, good song! Nice technical vibe with a big bottom end, somehow alluding to a sense of speed. Convincing. Cool

Oren,

Yep indeed,a 1974 AMC Javelin with the "Go Package"-a 4 barrel,401 cubic inch,6.6L
V8...I definately should have purchased one and restored it when I had the money years ago...20/20 hind-sight is a drag!

Thanks for your kind review. Cheesy

L.R.,

The car show was actually in Wildwood,N.J.,which is about an hour's ride further south from Atlantic City.
Wildwood is much closer to Cape May,which is the southern most tip of the state.

Wow Thom..this starts right off at cruising altitude.

You got style fella. I like the way you grab a handful of that synth of yours,
and don't let go till you're done with it.

Great job, and I'm glad to hear you are keeping up variations on this theme.

..and you have pictures of such cool cars..I am going to have to send you a
photo of Vroom..

..'98 GMC..454 with custom fuel injection, and custom exhaust..4WD, but no big-butt
tires to give that away..looks like a regular gentleman.

..my sleeper truck. Louise designed some gorgeous flames for him, but I
still like the plain black wrapper look.

..only thing needed is a wax-job..he deserves that much, anyway..meantime, I need
to record some more samples.  Smiley

Cool

454 General Motors big-block V-8, to my knowledge the biggest engine ever offered in a production (street legal, mass produced) vehicle. A legend.

Wyatt,

I like your "Siskel & Ebert" way of reviewing my song...very colorful and a very kind review at that...thanks a mint-much appreciated! Cheesy

The running series of this theme is a boat-load of fun and it's a constant source of inspiration for me,so I don't plan of stopping or slowing down just yet. Evil

In fact,I hope the usual partcipants chime in with thier own stuff again and if more people join in on the fun-cool...bring it on!

Thom, this was very good indeed!  Great rhythms!

It brought back memories of my 68 Mustang fastback, 302, Holley 650 4 barrel carb, 4 on the floor and 411’s in the rear.  I loved that car!

Mario,

Sounds like a cool ride you had...not a huge Mustang fan myself, although I'm very fond of the Shelby GT 500! Cool

Thanks for your comments.

..hmm..now that you mention it, that does ring a bell..

..but I can't remember anything actually cool that sported that engine.
