This is another tune who's outline had been hanging around for ages, then this evening - er... yesterday evening - it all came together, and once going I simply couldn't stop. Indeed, it was like a runaway train Smiley

I expect it will need a bit of tidying up, but see what you think.

Version 2 is here as well

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

The tones from this Zyn incarnation remind me so much of the big organ at hockey arena.

Funny organ sound for a funny tune  Grin

The only remark is that to my ears it lacks a bit of body in the mid, sound wise (for example the drums could use some more there). And maybe you could replace the organ doing the chords at countertime by a guitar (the reggea/ska style, indeed)... Just a suggestion, of course!

See youy around,

Hmm I seem to have got one and a bit files on there - fixed now Smiley

@Oren
Indeed, a Zyn track - apart from the percussion. That came from a soundfont - FluidR3-GM.sf2 - via Qsynth. The organ sound was one of the first Zyn patches I created.

@Frederick
Interesting idea using guitar for the chords. I'll give it a try and see how it sounds. I'll leave the mid-area failry clear fo now. I might want to put mire in there.

Thanks guys, and glad you like it.

Maybe that’s why I like this so much!

Super sounds, chops and production.

It’s a keeper!

Thanks a lot Mario Cheesy

I've put an updated version with the other entry. This has the sound for the chords 'thickened'. I did try a guitar sound but didn't really like it. I've also done a very small amount of tweaking - a little push here, a shove there - nothing major.

Very simple structure but interesting melodies and lead lines all over it
It's about a train running, but it makes me think of summer sunsets as well.

Cheers
