For the July/August competition I made a track called Golden Skies which was slightly shorter than 3:40 (the max. track length allowed). It was one of those times where everything just clicked and I really enjoyed working on it. In fact, after doing the regular length track I immediately did an expanded version which I'm now proud to show to you all!

The contest entry was allready very good, obviously the reason you won the contest  Cool

This version is even better, solid structure, good development and great sound structure !

You realise you have to play this on the live gig don't you  Grin
I wonder how you will play keys and guitar at the same time  Huh Wink

Marc,

A very signature sound, smooth & well constructed. 8)I've always been fascinated with atmospheric conditions in places such as the Netherlands(I'm assuming that this tune is in reference to this-unless the title is a metaphor for something else)?

Your musical influences are very evident in this piece & a fine display of it. Cheesy

If I can find time I'll try to learn that part, if that will help?
Then instead of JamMan you can have JamesMan  Roll Eyes

Wow, thanks for the positive response people, glad you like it so much! As to playing it - it's kind of complicated so if I were at all to attempt it I suggest a collaborative effort in the form of a jam where I'l happily leave guitar and bass parts to the specialists! Grin

We'll see, there's a lot to play that weekend and so little time to prepare...

Anyone got a dictionary? All the words I wanted to describe this have already been used wOO
There is so much detail here, it must have taken a lot of effort to get it all just right.
