Welcome back Thom,

Glad to hear you survived the ordeal, and I will be interested to hear your take on the soft-synths once you have a chance to get into them.

Cool

Mario,

Thanks again for the pc support. :)Not sure yet exactly how I will approach this whole situation, but I do know that I will not be running a ton of softsynths....maybe just the Korg Karma software & one other package perhaps.

As for unloading my gear,I've unloaded plenty already over the years,so I'm sticking to what I got-sorry! Wink Grin

Kara,

I had sold my Korg M1 several years ago,but don't regret it one bit-the sounds were terrible! Grin
It is kinda cool that the Korg M50 sort of resembles the old M1 though. Cool

Thanks for the good wishes Wyatt. 8)As for what I will do with the softsynths in the months to come, you'll be one of the first to witness the premiere of it. Grin

I threw in a pic of my bedroom to give you an idea of just how cramped my room is currently and everything you see in this photo, excludes the bed & the dresser! Shocked Grin

Awesome work space, dude!

My wife and I plan to move on to a boat eventually (the oceans are rising and we live on an island...), so my studio will likely be styled after the GreenDeath prototype.

Oren,

It seems that a house boat would ideal for your situation...however though, you may still have the need to conform to the Green Death configuration. Evil Grin

Back to your Thom.
1. Download the lame encoder from the audacity site and put it in your audacity directory
2. First time you try to export to mp3 in audacity it will ask you where the lame decoder is, just point it to the right directory.

That's it  Wink
