EDIT: I made a new mix, better balanced and with less effects. Sounds better i hope A more up-tempo, guitar driven track. It's meant to have a live-feel, I hope I managed to make it sound dirty enough All comments and suggestions appreciated, frederik

Fred, Very retro & upbeat-with a "The Monkees" flavor. :)The breaks in the song make it very enjoyable...very nice arrangement here. -Thom

I made a new mix, posted in the original post. I've tried to find a better balance between all instruments and voices (there are quite a lot in there), and I've cut down on the effects (verb), to make it sound more clear.
All comments greatly appreciated,
fred

A top flight production...perfecto! I love how you sing the English lyrics with the hard "r". Most 20th century pop music was sung with "r" pronounced "ah". Then along came Joni Mitchell, and later Neil Young, using that hard Canadian "r". Irish bands had always used hints of this in their performances, but as the trend began to catch on, they went after it with a vengeance. REO Speedwagon emphasized it in their vocals, and this song reminds me somewhat of their earlier(better) recordings. Nice touch!

Thanks for al the kind words About my "r": I didn't have a clue that i was doin' my "r" the Canadian way... My english pronounciation tends to be very bad, but apparently every now and then it just happens to have a hint of an existing accent fred

Excellent. Love the *live* feel. It's just the sort of style that I like to try myself. Makes me smile. James
