We (Azell and myself) are in the middle of preparing a new live set for next year and we will play some of the songs on the upcoming KM live gig

As most of you won't come to the gig, we thought is was a good idea to give you a little preview  Wink
This is recorded directly from the master of the PA, so it was you hear live, no production.
Everything live played in one go.
Myself on 2 keyboards (Nord Modular G2X and Alesys fusion) and Azell with here WX windcontroller and a Roland XV.

What do you think ?

Very nice work, especially as it's done live in one hit Shocked

The only thing missing is the strobe lights Cheesy

It's good!
Not having any experience listening to live performances with synthesized instruments, I have nothing to compare it with... Embarrassed  But, other than less variation in percussion, it compares very favourably to sequenced multi-track recordings offered here on the forum.

Oren,

You are right about the lack of variation of the percussion.
I could program a couple of variations and trigger them with the buttons on top of my G2X, but I wonder if it is worth the hassle ?
The trouble is that I'm playing on 2 keyboards on top of each other, the G2X on top and the fusion on the ground floor Smiley
Since part of the song I play on the lower keyboard it will be difficult to trigger other variations.
And in my experience, during live performances, people don't listen a lot to details of the percussion as long as you ahve a groove going  Grin

Very good start, especially when you consider it was live!

Very cool, reminds me a bit of OMD's tracks. It would have been cool to have some percussive accents in the form of orchestra hits in some places to really grab the listeners attention. Looking forward to hearing it live!

I can't help thinking there was a certain inevitability to that Grin

I think the accent will do it just fine..nice groove you have going here.

Interesting song..I hope you can get a bit of video shot for it. It would
be nice to watch you play your double-decker.

Cool

I'm glad you're keeping yourself in shape for live performances.
That's always a chance to measure your artistic height (which is presumably always growing)

Certainly, live playing is what I like the most.
This weekend I did with Moon a litle rehearsal for the live gig, nice ideas came out of this.
