This was supposed to be funny , no ?
Well I found it funny, but not everybody has the same feel of humour that I have

Still, you know more about trumpets that I know Smiley

rharv (or Bob Harvey) is an accomplished trumpet player, and I just wanted to be sure everyone knew they were listening to an original audio recording and not looped samples or a MIDI instrument on the trumpet track. The guitars were also original audio performances. Synthetic music is so advanced now, that it's sometimes hard to tell.

Almost everything I say is meant to be funny, but accurate and not sarcastic.

A la prochaine,

Perhaps i wasn't clear enough in my comment...

When I say that it was funny, i mean that the song put a smile on my face and that is, in my book, a criteria of quality.
It is good to hear some musicians from time to time that don't take 'everything' serious from time to time.

Hey, thanks!

Bob Harvey (rharv) performed, recorded, and reverberated the trumpet in Detroit, then sent it as an MP3 to me in Victoria BC. I justed plugged his track into my PowerTracks Pro multitrack composition, and adjusted the over-all track level to  suit the rest of the instruments.

Thanks for listening. Where can I hear your music?

Hey, Strat Cat,

The version you just heard is the most recent mix - trying for a little more presence and sparkle. The concept being that all the tunes on the motagator.net/Diatribe site are periodicaly re-mixed to reflect our reflections, as it were.

We got the idea from this Wyatt guy who is constantly upgrading his productions...

Thanks for commenting,

Oren.
