I discovered this remarkable product review on MySpace & it was clearly the most helpful review I have ever seen,as it was demonstrated so effectively!
The entire review was conducted live using the built in microphones of the recorder & the video has to be heard to be believed....amazing spatialization from such a compact recorder!

It only records in stereo... until you plug in two more mics   Yes, it has phantom power for condenser mics, and you can do track-on-track recording - maximum 4 tracks.

His H4 cost about $350.00 Canadian.

I have heard some remarkable recordings come out of one of these..a young fellow from Canada uses it a lot for contest entries, and brings it along with him to record song ideas in the car.
