This song needs a melody. Can someone help? The chords are C/Am/F/G. I think the song is something like Rock'n Roll.

Hey, Andreas, This is a pretty standard R'n'R set of phrases. What are you looking for here? If you want a straightforward guitar part I can do it. If you are looking for a song ... do you have lyrics? If you have something to share we may be able to get the Elderly Brothers to join in here, maybe James

Very good idea!If you are looking for a song ... do you have lyrics? A very very good idea! But my english is too bad, so I am not able to write lyriks and I am not a singer. If someone (you?) can write some lyriks and someone likes to sing, welcome! If you have something to share we may be able to get the Elderly Brothers to join in here, maybe That would be very nice Andreas James

Hmmm. 8 bar boogie. Would work very well with a song. Should be very easy to drop a melody on top of it for a singer. Let's see what The Elderlies come up with and maybe I can slide something in too Closing chord should modulate to the first one. Sort of Daaaa - Dum

Thank You Will.
You are perfectly right, the end must be still changed.

Just to set this thing rolling .... Here is a format which is : 16bars verse, 8bars chorus. Same again another twice, then 16bars instrumental followed by 8bars chorus. All rough takes, of course. I think my older twin brother may be able to cobble together some lyrics that would fit into this pattern. James

Fits quite nicely.
If there's a vocal going on top I would suggest quite a bit of reverb on the guitar to push it back, and possibly pan it slightly to one side.

If there's a vocal going on top I would suggest quite a bit of reverb on the guitar to push it back Will, the whole guitar line is only as a 'marker' to help place a vocal. If it does turn into a song I would re-work the guitar to fit round the vocal line. James

This would be a great fun I made a new ending, but I'm not really happy with this. If you have a file with vocals or guitar (or something other) for me, you can send it via e-mail to ellie@soundklops.deAndreas

Andreas, I am not a singer by any stretch of the imagination. So here in my instrumental version based on your chord progression.
I hope you like it.

Very good work Mario! May I ask you if you can send me a file with your guitar playing only? So I could make some experiments with mixing. That would be a great pleasure for me. Andreas
