What do you think of the new rules regarding fuel. I think I liked the old rules better; strategy for fuel load during qualifying & 2 vs 3 stops in the race. Looks like 1 tire stop may now be the norm. Less entertaining for me. That said, it seems F1 is usually quite keen on fixing things that aren't broke.

True, I liked old rules better.
I found the race quite bouhring

I think that is the common thought of just about everyone!

Been rather busy lately and out of the loop. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up a bit over the weekend.

Red Bull are not happy after the fiasco yesterday. They had the Number 1 & 2 positions in the bag, then got scrapping with each other. Result Hamilton and Button got Numbers 1 & 2 Cheesy

Well, Glastonbury is under way. Looks like they're going to get decent weather this year too.

I went there in 2000, had a fantastic time. Anyone else been?

Did you see that crash of Webbers !
A 180° turn and landed upside down, and wasn't even injured, quite a proof of technology used in F1

Disgraceful behavior by the Ferrari team boss. As far as I'm concerned Massa won that race. The fine is pathetic, but hopefully there will be more action taken. Up until Massa was ordered to let Alonso through (and yes it was clearly an order clumsily worded to suggest it wasn't) I was quite supportive of Ferrari, as they've had a poor couple of seasons. But now I hope they get taken to the cleaners.

Poetic justice would be for Alonso to be bumped down to third place. Thinking on, I remember Ferrari have been involved in a lot of shady practices over the years, including industrial espionage.

F1 is more like a soap opera than a racing league. However, I think that's what makes fun!!

Still not able to get involved in anything. Just feel bleagh most of the time. Practicing on the guitar a bit though, so that's something. Going for a short break to Yorkshire at the end of the month so hopefully that'll break the mood.

For the first time ever I'm watching The Last Night of the Proms on BBC iPlayer. This is because I've now got {spit} digital TV and signal is dropping out completely here - never had that with analogue.

iPlayer video is crap, but the sound is really quite good all considered.
