Hello my my name is Michael R and I am a new poster/artist at Kara-Moon.
I was at a loss for a artist name and have no band so I am listed as Jack Bond. Jack is my dog, Casino Royale was on TV.
I'm in my fifties and have been playing around with music since the early eighties. A Tascam 4track cassette, an Alesis mmt8, a Casio Cz 101 and an Epiphone acoustic are my roots. Along with some formal drum lessons as a ***. I've been in different bands over the years and loved practice but never enjoyed the work involved with gigging.
I work with Energy XT 1.41 and Sonar 6. I have a ton of stuff I've written and recorded so I'll be adding to the songs I've uploaded faster that may seem natural.
I'm hoping the people here will help me to improve my skills and maybe make some new friends along the way.
Of all the places on the web were you can post music I felt most a kin to the music/artist I hear, here at Kara-Moon.

Most of all thanks to K and M and all the people making this possible

I've used cakewalk products since Home Studio 8. Sonar has been the classic on going love/hate affair for me. It is amazingly powerful, but more often then not I find it amazingly cumbersome.
I've kind of developed a process of tracking stuff and midi work in Energy XT and then moving the audio tracks to Sonar for mixing?
I find Sonar to be the perfect emulation of the old multi-track tape deck. Smiley

Hey, welcome Michael.

It's always good to get newcomers, especially ones who are willing to put some songs up straightaway.

Couple of good ones on your 'artist page'.

If you get some up in the Auditorium section here you will get more response from 'residents'.

Looking forward to hearing more stuff.

Yes, I am the kvr MRT hope that wont exclude me from anything Cheesy

Thanks for listening hope you like the tunes, as I said I have a lot of stuff recorded but I seem to be pretty eclectic in what I do. I'm hoping to kind of develop a sound of my own at some point?

Having said that I hope people here will be willing to give me the bad new also.

I've downloaded the tracks for the collaboration, Nice stuff so far. Who Played the piano part? That is some good stuff. My keyboard chops ae pretty ham fisted.

Thanks for the warm welcome all.

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
