I really appreciate your bargain hunting efforts-thank you,but as a general rule,I do not deal with eBay whatsoever,as I'm not a trusting soul.
I have a budget of $250 per month to spend,so for me to buy a second hand guitar with selector switches & strings to replace,is not reasonable for me.
At this point in time,I am primarily interested in Epiphone guitars and I found what seems to be a decent one for $169 new,which is a Les Paul Special II.
I'm especially interesting in the Epiphone Dot Studio & the Arch Top model and have considered a couple of other brands.

It's nice to have your endorsement on the LP Special-as I wondered about it for the price,but then again,it's a well reviewed axe all around.....this is probably what I should start out with-but man,that Arch Top axe is very pretty!
