Daniel makes me think about some songs I've done with talken poetry. I think I've posted these at The Auditorium

Horizon : http://www.buzzmusic.de/download.php?id=3868

The vocal is a synthetic one I tweaked with buzz. It's an extract of a poetry by Christina Rossetti called The Key Notes :

Where are the songs I used to know,
Where are the notes I used to sing?
I have forgotten everything,
I used to know so long ago...

Another poem from Christina Rossetti, read by buzzbeach*** and called "Remember" :

I have some other songs of this kind.

Christina Rossetti is the sister of the english symbolist painter Dante Gabriele Rossetti.

Thanks Daniel

bye

Thanks magmavander..interesting pair. I like the second one a bit better, but then I am still getting used to synth vox. I like this kind of arrangement. It is thought provoking.

Thanks Wyatt  Smiley

The synth voices are actually not that bad. Of course I had to tweak it, slowing down it just a bit in general and use some variations in the speed of reading to try to give a kind of "accent" to the voice here and there + removing some frequencies.

But of course, a real human reading is better  Grin

That's very interesting. It is only recently I am starting to learn more about synths and samples etc..my experience has been with playing and recording guitar, vocals, and harmonica. This kind of music had been opening up my ears as well as blowing my mind.

the bass and piano are really nice together.  waiting for that vocal..... tickling drums, and synth comming up in the mix.... hear the vocal now.  Might be cool to hear the vocal sung as well..  still listening.   very melow.  kinda makes me think of blade runner.
nice.

Hi Magma

Like the music. Can't say I dig the synth vox, sounds like an awesome poem though...

Hi Magma
very relaxed music and weird sound of the voice in here.
It is surreal in a way.
The 2nd with buzzbeach voice is more melodic and I like the backing strings and choir

Cheers

Thanks for the feedbacks!

I used synth voice many times as my voice sounds more like a duck than a swan  Grin

Sorry, I'm not according with you. No duck in this song  Wink
"A nice mystic touch" ? Yes. +1
I can imagine : I'm walking in a street. This song is in my head. Near me, people are walking, speaking. I don't ear their voices.
This song is in my head.
Nice chords again. You're the chord's king.

Hi magma,  poetry aside ,the music in both these tracks is lovely and the spoken voice adds something good to both, although i'd like to hear the first one with a real voice.

I remember the buzzbeach one from the Auditorium, it's beautiful. You really have a talent for melodies and buzzbeach reads the poem just right.  Nice.  Grin

Fascinating chill loops and synths here.  I do happen to like the vox-organ.

The computer voice is, well... a very valiant attempt.  However, I agree with everyone else's comments... with exception that the computer voice is both known as synthetic, and yet it does have some expression and timing that shows finisse of the programmer.  Good job nevertheless...
