Haven't recorded any vocals for many years until recently and here's the result. I can hear lot's of things that I would do different, but that's always true. The great sound of the Real Tracks was my inspiration. Here are three songs for a bit of variation.

The Gentle Rain -vocals

A Fine Romance (funny vocals w touch of Boris Karloff, with Rex Harrison Broadway Musical styling and a suspicion of German accent here and there)

Lulu's Back in Town -vocals

Musicians who don't sing are often surprised by how difficult it is to do even a reasonably good job -staying in tune,  getting the phrasing good, singing the lyrics so the words are clear and understandable. I know that my appreciation for vocalists became far greater after my rather pitiful earliest attempts.

Thanks for listening,

Dan

Dan,
I've listened to your singing with interest - what you may lack in power and control, you make up for with enthusiasm... Wink Always an important ingredient.
I was going to ask you if the whistling was wind controller generated, but you already answered my question.
Nicely done!

Hello,

To elaborate on what Oren had said,I think your voice has an ample amount of potential.I too,do not do vocals very often...but once I've gone head long into a project, the power & control increases a bit.

Of course, conditioning yourself by singing on a consistent & regular basis is ideal...so if singing is your real passion, stick with it and great things will be forthcoming! Cool

All things considered-indeed,a nice job you've done of vocals. Smiley

I really like your vocals, very well done.  Your arrangements are superb!  RealTracks? That whistle is very real sounding!

Now I have to go to your artist’s page and see what I’ve been missing.
