Theme this month is a 'free-for-all' with two conditions.
Each entrant MUST give reviews to ten other entries, and must include one or more 'children's instruments' in their song.

I've taken the traditional air, which I posted here recently as a test for my new acoustic guitar, and modified it to fit the theme.  I've used a 'starter' grade whistle and provided percussion from a children's range 'rhythm clapper' and 'triangle'.
I think that I have fulfilled the instrumental criteria, but am not sure I will be able to find time to do the reviews with so much stuff going on in the personal department.

Anyway .... enjoy  Grin

Between you, me and these 4 walls, I'd say this is the best entry 'over there' so far. You've really made use of the instruments, not tried to hide them. You are also very much the whistle master, being able to make that one sound so good.

Thanks, Will, for the comment and compliment  Lips Sealed

The thing about the 'tin whistle' is that ... it is really down to the technique.
Most professional whistle players use better quality instruments but, in the main, that is to do with tuning and stability issues.  Mostly the tone and temperament come from the 'blowing, tongueing and fingering' skills.  Roll Eyes  If you do a little research you will find that a vast number of respected players use very cheap and readily available instruments. The main contenders are Clarke's, Walton's and Generation. I think the Generation ones are the most popular and most stable .... and very, very cheap  Roll Eyes
I'm afraid that I am sadly lacking in most of these attributes and, at this time, am almost on the verge of giving up the instrument pending major dental surgery within the next few weeks. I may possibly have to bin it completely.  Undecided

Anyway, that is another story ... in the meantime, thanks again for the compliment, young man  Kiss

Very impressive acoustic recording/production! Are all the instruments microphone input?

(skillful performance, too - but we've come to expect that... Cool)

Though I do not have any interest in the contests over there at KVR(too many rules & restrictions & no on-site hosting),I am glad for this particular one to have occurred,as it brought forth a very interesting convergence of your instruments and it was so artfully done!

I stand humbled in the presence of greatness,as I am very impressed with your acoustical prowess,Sir James! wOO
