Because It Is Bitter
2:22 / 3.25 MB

Collab: Used some of nikp2000's organ and guitar, some of Zombie Queen's vocals, and part of Zombie Queen's midi vocal line (fed to Dirty Harry).

Used: MU.LAB, UVI Workstation (with a Dusted William Dope Ass Drum Loop), sfz (with Dirty Dose, Zvon Baby Bells), RA Mowg, Reality (the SAR vst, not the noun), Dirty Harry, Short Circuit (see below for samples), 4Front Piano, Metallurgy, dlM Pitchfork, arcDev ET-301, Classic Phaser, GHi, Paradigm Shifter 3, Unstable, Boot EQ MK II, Drom, GlaceVerb, GTO, Classic Delay, LilPlug, HGS SoundScaper, GRevDly, Ferric TDS, Electri-Q (posihfopit edition), SPAN, Audacity, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, SP B1 mic, Pod.

Samples from: nikp2000, Zombie Queen, CBS Radio Workshop, X Minus One, Life Alert commercial, whoever made the Wilhelm (I got mine at Wikipedia), myself (needle drop and static).

Edited to correct a sample credit (it wasn't from a Mysterious Traveler episode, it was from an X Minus One episode).

A very interesting and well-crafted piece.  I really liked the beginning, very clever, but I got bored with it after the 1:45 mark.  IMHO it calls for more sounds up front, like in the beginning, instead of everything being in the background.  However that is just me and others may disagree with me as I have very limited knowledge of the genre.

Very clever bit of mixing.
