This is a truly amazing article I came across & very heartbreaking,to say the least....
http://www.unstoppablesignals.com/hnbfI had never even thought of Firefly returning to TV as even a remote possibility, but I still have hope for a sequel to Serenity.None of this whole affair-from it's inception, makes any sense...whatsoever.
The show is green-lighted by the original executives and then they are replaced by new executives & they do everything in their power to kill the show, before Firefly even finishes a complete season.
Equally puzzling,is that Firefly was aired Friday evenings(although some shows do well on Fridays-in fact,Miami Vice kept people at home on Friday evenings).
I think the most confusing & frustrating thing about this show,is that the Sci-Fi channel never picked it up,despite all of Joss Whedon's efforts.
Never have I seen,so many writers, producers, actors, actresses and fans rallying around so diligently to keep this franchise alive and all to no avail.
I imagine that Serenity did not do so well at the box office-which does make sense,as one cannot fully appreciate the movie, without having seen the TV series beforehand.
With my head so preoccupied with this show,I decided to make a "Tribute Trailer",which is comprised of clips taken from the first disc of the series, which is 1/3 of the series.
