From the Inside

“From the Inside” was written and played by RobertH. I met Bob when PSR was together and since then we have gotten together every Sunday.  This week Bob brought this song and we liked it so much that we recorded it.  Bob is using his excellent finger picking skills on a nylon string guitar while I added everything else via my keyboard.  The whole process took around three hours.

(a little reverb on the guitar would "bring it into the same room" as your synth instruments....)

I like it! The song has a nice emotional touch. This song could be placed right into a movie! Very nice indeed!

If I make a suggestion: Appart from adding a little reverb to the guitars as Oren mentioned, I would also make sure that the background noise doesn't fall away in the sillent pieces, because it interrupts the song.

This is a beautiful tune. Expertly played.
It all comes together rather well. I got to agree about the background noise. That was the very first lesson that Wyatt taught me!
This would make a first class song if you could get lyrics.

PS – Where are you hearing the background noise.  The only thing I hear is the buzzing of the guitar strings during those quiet moments and if I cut those of or quickly fade out it just doesn’t sound right. Are you hearing the same thing or something else?
