These last days I have been using my daughters headset, a superlux HD681.

I thought this headset was... well.... cheap... and it is... but... it's sounds is far from cheap.
In fact, I realized that I wasn't using my so beloved Sennheiser HD580 for several days, so this thing couldn't be bad at all !
Much better than what you expect from a 20-euro headset.
Considering it's price, this one is really, really good.

For more info, see http://www.thomann.de/be/superlux_hd681.htm

Good to know!

The technology of headphones/earbuds has advanced very quickly since the advent of the "personal stereo" - walkman, discman, ipod, etc. It is no longer necessary to spend a week's wage to get good audio directly to your ears.
I love it - thanks for the recommendation!
