The theme for July's contest is to pay tribute to Markleford and his five years of contest entries.  There was one entry that I thought was really cool a while back called Rio Azul, in which Markleford did an unusual version of Blue Danube.

In a similar fashion, here's my version of Ode to Joy.

Niggles:
-Nothing particularly grabs me about this track, especially later in the song, when all of the elements are together.
-There's an annoying tone other than the tone being played on the pan flute sound.
-The mp3 compression is more noticeable than I would like.
-The bass is too much focused in the mids and lower mids for my taste.

+Reminds me of video-game music for zoo tycoon or another topdown kidsy game like that. I like the entrance the guitar-lead makes, with the bending and the rapid going down the scale.
+The understated pad sound that runs throughout the song is nice.
