Hi all,

I had some problems while on vacation/holiday with my log in so I had to start a new ID.  MarioD is now longhair.

Yes Will the vacation went very well.  It rained a little for two days and on the first day I told the wife that I should have brought an acoustic guitar with me.  She said well go buy one! So I went to a pawnshop in Florida and get a Samick acoustic with a damaged tuning key for 99 USD; I just ordered new tuning keys for it and I’m still way under the guitar’s going street price.

Then the next week while we were staying with one of my friends, at keyboard player that I have been in bands with since 1967, I told him the guitar story.  He said he purchased an Epiphone acoustic a few years ago but gave up trying to learn it as it hurt his fingers.  So he gave it to me! 

So yes, any vacation where I can come home with two guitars for 99 USD is a very good vacation.  Plus I took a lot of pictures!
