JonD came over a few weeks ago and said let's do something really different.  So we did a jazz piece with a smooth 50's sound against a 5/4 time signature with a couple of free jazz type bridges.

JonD is playing the EP and Vibes.  I am playing all guitar parts and the wind controller Tenor Sax.  The drums are a modified Band-in-a-Box style.

This may not be your cup of tea but we had fun doing this!

I can be fickle about jazz,as I have particular tastes...but this is 5-star!  There's quite a bit of good jazz pieces coming from this era in time and I love that "James-Bond-chilling-out-on-the-beach in Nassau" flavor!

Thanx Thom for the 5-star rating!  It is much appreciated.

I agree, a lot of great jazz came from the 50-60 era, Miles, Coltrane, Ella, Peaches and way to many for me to list and/or remember!
