Your explaination is well recieved & understood.I'll tell you though,as much as I love the simplicity of FreeRip,I'm frustrated & upset with them.
I suppose though, since FreeRip is free, they may have some kinks in thier sight to work out & perhaps they don't have the financial resources to do so at this time,as I know they are asking for user contributions to fund thier service.

I understand that you have to protect yourself legally, but I am shocked that this improper tagging issue is happening...it's very bizzare to say the least.

No problem elwoodblues I'm just doing my job here.

You have arrived here at a real musicians forum, where you can talk with musicians about your music and ask them questions amongst musicians, and there some very good ones here. A lot of them are open for collaboration too, and believe me, if you are a keyboard player and you need a guitar track, the only real good solution is a ..... guitar player Smiley and we have some good ones here.
Perhaps I overreacted a bit, but I repeat it is my job here to be vigilant. It took a lot of work to create this place, not only from a technical point of view (which is Moon's department) but also from a relational point of view. Thanks to our moderators, we have created here a place made by musicians and for musicians. And it is very important for us to keep this place alive, I hope you understand this.

It would be a good idea, I think to contact the freerip guys to ask what is happening. I must admit that I don't use it anymore, I only knew the software because it was me first ripper i used and it was pretty easy to use.

So, let's give this a fresh start, ok ?

No problem on my end either Kara-it's all good.I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but
truly,no grudges or hard feelings whatsoever.
I will look into the song tagging issue with Freerip as I write this.

Kind regards,

Thom(aka Elwood) Cool

Now that this is settling down......a couple years ago I downloaded the free  'dBpowerAMPMusicConverter'  from
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
It is a fantastic application for every conceivable ripping and conversion situation.  The only snag is that the 'LameMP3' codec has to be paid for. However, it is a very small, one-off payment, and well worth it.  The whole program is a joy to use. Simple to convert from any music format to any other, it even has filters for converting from vinyl records or tapes to CD, etc.
