A new quick and dirty one featuring my new toy in the rhythm guitar section. That would be a Danelectro 12 string, hence the name.

mm that Danelectro certainly does have a nice sound. I've always been put off them, mainly because Im not too keen on the look, but I must admit, I do like the sound.

Sweet! I prefer the sound of an electric 12-string to an acoustic 12-string with piezo pick-ups. Your new Danelectro does the job well Any chance of a picture...?

Oren, as per your request here is a picture of it. It is a 2001 Korean made Danelectro. That’s the last year they made them in Korea, now they are manufactured in China, according to the music store where I work. I bought this and its case for $250 USD from an individual. You will notice that he put is name on the upper left-hand side of the guitar. If he hadn’t done that this would be worth around $500-$600. His mistake, my gain

No problem Thom I’d love to send you the tracks in stereo. I just forgot what format you like them in – another senior moment!

You have some sweet guitars, Mr. D.

I'm not one to critique guitar instrumentals, but I will say that I enjoyed it.
I felt that the retro-sound was a little milked, but that's probably because it wasn't my cup of tea in the higher octaves.
I liked how the bassline followed the arrangement.
The guitar playing was a breath of fresh air after the resonance synth was over. I guess that's my problem, I'm just not used to synthesizer leads having such a high level of resonance for melodic exertion. I'm more used to that high of a resonance for either effects or for acid bass.
There were times that I felt that the bassline and the synth lead were not gelling together. However, I could be waay off my hinges since I haven't played a real instrument in a while and am not 100% a rhythm expert.
The atmosphere was laid back, and pleasantly cool like a cowboy tracking the sheriff. The guitar solo had the most soul, and the bass and drums came a close second. All in all, minus a few details, this track was enjoyable.
