I think you're the only one who took a 'traditionalist' approach to this, and it works very well.
It's a strange thing ....
over the past six months, or so, I have acquired a number of software applications and sound libraries in anticipation of the day when my advancing arthritis means that I am struggling too much with the fretted instruments
Each time, since then, that there has been a theme or challenge it has been something that I find, personally, to be more fitting for my old school approach
Still ... when the day comes .... etc
Other than that ... I am still in the first flush of a huge love affair with this 'multi-use' swiss-army-knife of a baritone acoustic bass guitar conversion
The versatility of this beast is quite overpowering, and the 34" scale is actually a lot easier on the old joints than one would imagine
