Just to let some concerned folks know,I rode the storm without incident and in fact,it was just a day at the beach. Wink Tropical storms always weaken significantly,by the time they reach this area,so I was not worried.
Nothing catastrophic has ever occurred here as long as I've been alive, which makes N.J. one of the safest places to live in this country. For the most part, there was heavy rainfall and some stout breezes and that was the worst of it,as it did not have enough strength to knock out my electricity. Smiley
As for Mario,he lives an hour east of Buffalo and I've been tracking the storm since it left here and it appears that he probably experienced no worse than what I did,if that.
I live about 10 miles inland, whereas Mario lives about 200 miles inland,so I am sure he's perfectly fine.

We were in staying in Watkins Glen NY when the storm hit.  All we had there was a moderately strong wind and some heavy rain, but no enough to stop us from coming home.  We actually drove out of the storm as we headed north west to our home.  Here at home we have had no effects of the storm what so ever.

Thanx for everyone’s concern.

Glad to hear people are OK. From what I'm picking up on the news, it seems that in spite of the possibilities this turned out to be more an expensive event rather than anything else.

Thanx for everyone’s concern.

I knew you guys would be fine.

We hear so much negative news about the U.S. military, corporations and politicians, but very little is ever said about how tough and resourceful the average American can be. Kiss
